The Canopy Cup

Tee times starting at 10:00 am

The 4th annual Canopy Cup will be held at the Camelback Ambiente course.  in this event, participants will be divided into two teams.  Dustin Brutton from Canopy Wealth and Dave Johnson from MistAmerica will join two board members to serve as team captains and vice captains and will be responsible for selecting the teams, developing their team strategy, and setting up the matches. 

Format:

• There will be two 9 hole matches:
• Pinehurst Alt Short match play on the front nine
• Individual match play on the back nine
• One point will be awarded to the winner of each 9 hole match.

Qualifications:

• Must be an active member.  No guests
• Must play in 3 regular season events to establish a league GHIN
• Maximum number of players - 60

Winners

• Assuming 60 players, there will be 45 points (15 for the 2 man & 30 individual).  The winning team would need 23 points
• 50 Montlake points will be awarded to each player who wins a nine hole match
• 25 Montlake points will be awarded to each player who ties a nine hole match
• 50 Montlake points will be awarded to each player whose team wins the Canopy Cup.
• In the event of a tie, 25 points will be awarded to each player, but there will be a tie breaker to determine overall bragging rights to the Canopy Cup.
• Maximum Montlake points available is 150
• $40 will be credited to each member on the winning Canopy Cup Team
